Guys, I want to love "Riders of Berk" badly, but just... no. DX
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the graphics and I actually enjoy the humour, but WHERE THE FUCK IS TOOTHLESS?! Seriously, Hiccup treats him like a dog when he appears, and that's all.
The movie was about them! I would not mind the Astrid/Hiccup moments that much (I don't ship Hiccstrid) if they only left clear that Toothless is more important than her. .__. Cause that's actually true. And hey, I do like Astrid's character!
So I decided to make this little drawing to remind myself that those two are the reason why I still love HTTYD.

you're right tho. That's what really disappoints me about riders of Berk as well. Hiccup and Toothless are the main focus of the franchise in general, and they're the main reason the audience loves the movies so much. So to make Toothless into a doglike pet character just seems stupid. Toothless should be smarter than the rest of the dragons, and be Hiccup's best friend in the show, not just some pet.
